Vice President, Sales

NuCompass Mobility Services, Inc. is a global relocation management services firm with a commitment to providing outstanding service through creative solutions and innovative technology. We are looking to add a proven sales leader to our management team. If you’re a strategic sales executive that has built and managed a team of producers, we’d love to meet you. The Vice President of Sales is a key position in our company, and may be based in either our Pleasanton, CA; Dallas, TX; or Shelton, CT office.

The Vice President, Sales’ primary objectives are to:

  • Recruit and retain highly productive sales people
  • Train, mentor and manage the NuCompass sales staff
  • Hold sales team accountable to sales objectives and activities
  • Achieve company revenue growth goals
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Manage a team of sales people with responsibility for achieving sales goals and development of the team
  • Manage team activity levels including calls, appointments, pipeline management
  • Meet with the team and prospective clients face-to-face in order to develop relationships
  • Assist sales team with RFP writing and client presentations
  • Represent NuCompass, Senior Management and Ownership at industry events
  • Network and partner with suppliers to create mutually beneficial relationships
  • Assist company with product development initiatives
  • Develop sales plans for sales team and hold team accountable for results
  • Meet or exceed company sales growth goals by adding profitable client accounts
  • Serve as a mentor to individuals on the sales team
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape
  • Be the voice of the customer and advise Leadership on products and services
Qualifications and/or Experience: 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to all employees within NCM and prospective client organizations
  • Excellent communications skills – both verbal and written, including presentation skills
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Very strong presentation skills
  • Understanding of RMC pricing and revenue streams; and effect on profitability
  • Familiarity with mobility managers within the industry
  • Excellent strategic and long term thinking and planning skills to identify, prioritize and achieve both short and long term client and company objectives
  • Five-years of employee mobility industry knowledge and experience.  Prior sales, marketing, corporate relocation program management or other industry experience at the management level is desired.
  • Five-years of experience in people management
  • Ability to think strategically and solve problems for prospective clients
  • Comfortable with using technology and enthusiastic about technology applications in employee mobility
  • Experience working with salesforce.com preferred
  • Availability for up to 50% travel
  • Bachelor’s degree
