Australia to Allow Some Visa Holders to Return Next Month

After 20 months of keeping their borders closed, Australia will allow workers and international students to return to the country next month. With economic recovery on the mind and a severe labor shortage, over 200,000 people who are fully vaccinated and have a negative PCR test will now be eligible to enter. Prime Minister Scott Morrison says, “The return of skilled workers and students to Australia is a major milestone in our pathway back. The steps that we are taking today are about securing our economic recovery.”
