Remote Work Transformation
This Remote Work Report, part of a research series by Worldwide Employee Relocation Council’s (WERC), examines remote work from the perspective of how Mobility Service Providers are addressing remote work within their own companies and how as an industry we are adapting.
We have discussed throughout the pandemic how NuCompass, along with our service partners, quickly pivoted to continue to provide all necessary relocation-related services with a new focus on safety, which has led to new and creative solutions – many of which will outlive the pandemic. The report finds that service providers, like our corporate counterparts, are working through the challenges related to the development of new remote work policies.
A particularly interesting aspect of this report is the identification of seven key factors which will transform the workplace of the future. In order of importance, they are:
- Offer a better work life balance
- Expand talent pools
- Increase employee attraction and retention
- Reduce real estate costs
- Create a more diverse and inclusive workforce
- Reduce labor costs
- Lower carbon emissions
